While the male counterpart of this operation was "operating" half-way around the world in Iraq, the female counterpart was encouraged to start "doing (an un-named on-line auction site)" to take her "mind off of things" (and to "stop worrying" ~ an Absolutely Impossible Feat, of course!).
There is no personal profit to us from our on-line auctions and stores.
We both have been Very Blessed in our Lives. So the on-line auction and store venture began as a Ways and Means to a Much Larger Cause ~ all profits from our on-line auctions and stores are donated to needy military families ~ families who are enduring the emotional and financial hardships of having a Loved One in Harm's Way ~ families whom, unfortunately, our government seems hardly aware of at times.
It is our own private cause for which we take no tax deductions ~ nor seek any publicity or credit ~ except to let you know that the Proceeds from Your Purchase or Win with us goes Much, Much Further than a private bank account.
Upon his retirement from the military, the male counterpart of this operation found he needed something to "keep busy" and so our on-line auction businesses grew and grew ~ and keeps growing. Two heads and four hands are always better than one ~ and his experience and participation in this endeavor was welcomed and is readily apparent in the wide range of Items which we are able to offer now.
As you may have guessed by now, we began to feel abused and unwelcome at the on-line auction site where we first began doing business. We have a 99.8-percent positive feedback rating there and would be more than happy to give you the link to it upon request. We are hoping here to have found a permanent new home where we are more appreciated.
